What is the difference between a Stock Holographic Pattern and a Custom
Holographic Pattern? |
Stock Patterns
This is an example of 3 of our most popular stock patterns:

|
Lots-O-Dots |
Pillars of Light |
Rainbow Pattern |
There are over 75 stock patterns in our holographic design library and growing. Some of these include Rainbow, Pillars of Light, Lots-o-dots etc. The embossing shims have already been created for all our stock patterns which means we are ready to make your paper. Most often a stock pattern is a repeating pattern of a cool holographic design.
Custom patterns are unique to your product/project. You can create your own design from digital artwork, Photoshop and with our help we will produce a master embossing shim just for you. Some companies like to ‘wallpaper’ their logo across a 28” x 40” sheet of holographic paper. To have this done, it is considered a ‘custom pattern’. Custom holographic patterns means that you (with our help) create your own design and we emboss it and produce your custom holographic paper/board exclusively for you!
Custom Hologram
This children's book is a combination of stock and custom holography. The cover is a stocked pattern called "Pillars of Light". It has a great linear reflective design that I chose for the cover of my book. The inside pages are custom holograms. We used Photoshop to produce our own designs inside and create a "hidden hologram" game for the kids. We designed and hid sailboats, bicycles, fish and other assorted objects in the background of the pages to add to the fun. We designed waves in the water, starbursts around the fish and many other unique patterns within the pages of this book too.
Whether you choose stock or custom, your base substrate is holographic paper. You just have to decide if one of our stock patterns will work with your next project or do you want to create your own. Either way, holographic paper and board catches your eye, which increases your sales and makes your product/project brilliant, unique and profitable!
